About Dr. Lauren Hanlon, D.O.

Dr. Lauren Hanlon, D.O. is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). She attended college at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA, medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA, and completed her residency at the Full Circle Health Family Medicine Residency in Caldwell, ID. While in medical school, she was introduced to and fell in love with OMT. She tried to absorb as much knowledge as possible and take as many extra classes as she could, so she could be as useful as possible to her patients. She has been trained in a variety of both direct and indirect manipulation techniques, along with cranial osteopathy. She loved learning about the intricacies and interconnectedness of the body. During residency, she continued to learn and practice her skills, all while learning conventional Family Medicine in hospitals, surgery centers, labor and delivery units, and clinics around the Treasure Valley. She combines all of her skills to treat her patients holistically and takes the time to truly address the root of their problem.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Hanlon loves spending time with her husband and animals (who you have probably seen on the business cards). She is an avid gardener and has an ever-growing collection of indoor plants. She also loves to collect rocks, crystals, and gems to decorate her house and garden. She enjoys being active however she can, especially swimming, bike riding, weightlifting, and hiking.
